Developed for optimal pre-treatment of metal (Iron or brass) and mineral surfaces with, protection against scratching and denting. A clean, dry surface is best suited before applying primer. Please note that complete curing of the METAL PRIMER (24 hours or more) is recommended before applying more coatings. Additional coating is possible with the Montana TECH, and Montana Cans color ranges. Apply primer in several thin layers spraying before the previous coat is fully dry, but with 1 or 2 minutes between each pass. • Limited results on copper and zinc
  • For best results sand surfaces with fine sandpaper before primer

Plastic Primer  semi gloss transparent white (not recommended for soft plastics )

Ideal for sealing and preparing plastic materials, seals porous surfaces and reduces the risk of tearing or cracking. Due to the varied chemical make-up of plastics  test for compatibility. Curing time is 24 or more hours depending on surrounding temperature and moisture levels.

Can be used on:

  • Polyurethane (PUR)
  • Polystyrene (PS)
  • Polyamide (PA)
  • Polypropylene rubber
  • Modified (EPDM)
  • Acrylic butadiene styrene plastics (ABS)

After primer is cured/dried (Curing time is 24 or more hours depending on surrounding temperature and moisture levels), you can apply any Montana-Cans color, TECH or EFFECT spray.

Can be used on:

  • Polystyrene/ Styrofoam
